I had a 9 hr layover in Istanbul from 4pm till 1am. I decided to use this time wisely and do some exploring. What a great idea it was! I contacted Yesil on WhatsApp and went over the logistics a day or two before my trip. Yesil picked me up at the airport and took me to the old city. It was such an immersive and amazing experience! Yesil is an incredible and a knowledgeable host! Highly recommend this company to anyone wanting a taste of Turkish culture in a limited time table. I will definitely do it again next time when my kids are with me.
Thank you, Yesil!!! 🫶🏻

We have visited Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Galata Tower and some local parts of the city in the evening. We got some chance to try Turkish kebhap and coffee. We arrived airport back on time. We had an unexpected night layover in istanbul for our transit flight. We have booked the tour last minute and welcomed on our arrival and visit old city of istanbul, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Galata tower and istiklal street almost untill midnight. Very good organised tour for a short layover. We had also chance of having some local kebhaps, Turkish coffee and street tastes.

For our transit connection, we had a stopover in istanbul for 9 hours and we visited the city for a short time. They picked us up from airport and see old city and Galata. We have booked a late layover tour landing at 4pm. Driver was ready for us on our arrival and visited really nice spots, Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Bosphorus, Galata tower and have some local food in istiklal street. We were at airport on time.
I had a 5.5 hour layover in Istanbul and I couldn’t have though of a better way to kill time by exploring the city. Realistically I had 2.5 hours to get down to business after a short departure delay and long taxiing into the gate at Istanbul airport. After clearing customs, my private minivan with the best tour guy ever Yesin, was waiting for me outside ready to take me for an unique experience. He was very confident and knowledgeable of the city ways around and made me feel super relax.
Istanbul is magical. First stop was the Blue Mosque and I recommend to walk inside because is breathtaking, then we walked to the Hagia Sophia, but because of time we couldn’t get in due to a huge line of people trying to enter the Grand Mosque. We continued our walk through the site and before leaving, Yesin told me to try some Simit, a popular circular bread widely known as Turkish bagel, mmm. Couldn’t leave the site also without trying some of the most popular Maras Dondurma ice cream and their famous charismatic vendors that fools you while trying to catch the ice cream cone. Yesin was very knowledgeable about Turkish history and very professional through the whole ride. I will definitely recommend this tour for any one with a layover of 6 hrs but not less.
I wished I had more time to explore this historical an monumental city full of a rich culture and amazing people. I’ll come back for more.
Thank you Yesin.
